Hot Start Wiring Kit
The hot start problem is fairly common among TVR Griffith and Chimaera owners. It often occurs when attempting to re-start the car shortly after it was stopped in warm conditions. When you turn the key, power is sent to the starter motor however one of the wires in the chain isn't quite up to the job, so in hot conditions the resistance in the wire builds to the point where insuffient power gets to the starter motor causing a starting issue.
This kit fixes that issue - This kit comes with a set of simple instructions to do the mod yourself.
Please check that you have the 3 wire alarm link (as shown in pictures) in the wiring in the passengers footwell, if you do not then you require the under bonnet early kit. Please contact us for more info.
